We’re a full-service computer organization which can DESIGN, BUILD, REPAIR, NETWORK, CABLE, PROGRAM and INSTRUCT computers for you, as well as make telephone and fax repairs. This includes PCs and MACs as well as CELL PHONES, SMART PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES. And, unlike many computer consultants, we do ALL the work for your network, from designing the network, then running the cable, to building and setting up the computers, installing the network and training about its use.

Virtually all of our work is performed ON-SITE, at your home or office. No dismantling and reconnecting your equipment for service, no problems with “it worked at the store, it must be your on-site setup”. Upon arrangement, if feasible, we can service your computer REMOTELY, using . Only major repairs are performed in shop and, even then, overnight if possible. And there’s no charge for pick-up and delivery.

	We’re punctual, courteous and always maintain communication before, during and after the service. We use mobile services to keep in constant communication to maintain our schedule and follow-up.

		You’ll almost always get the SAME TECHNICIAN to service your business - we’ll know your system’s history and won’t have to reinvent-the-wheel each time we provide service.

	We specialize in small business and home business (“SOHO”) computers and systems. We are especially experienced in business, accounting and office software solutions.

	We arrive with a full inventory of equipment (routers, switches, hubs, devices, drives, etc.) and equipment (test, cabling, telephone, electrical, etc.) to perform the required work without scheduling multiple service calls.

	We are not openly or indirectly connected with any specific computer manufacturer, like many stores, but we owe our allegiance strictly to our clients and recommend only what is best for them.

A referral or outsourcing service. We do virtually all of our own work. We are almost completely vertically integrated - If you need your computers networked, for example, we will design your network, install the cable and connectors, set up the computers, set up the network, test it, provide you with a map and instruct you in its use. No need for separate electricians, technicians and network types and instructors. We do it all from start to finish.

	We’re not omnipotent. We don’t know everything, although in 30 years, we’ve seen a lot. Beware anyone who tells you that they're an expert in everything. That’s impossible. If there is something we don’t know the answer to, we’ll find the answer for you. We have a large network of independent contractors who work for us, as well as many excellent industry associations.

		We’re not big. You’ll always get the same person for service, usually the owner. We’ve got your history, don’t have to reinvent the wheel each time we service your computer. But we’re large enough to provide same-day service in most instances.

COMPUTER COACH and its small business affiliate COMPUTERS AT WORK are owned by Joe Kelly, who is the Principal. Mr. Kelly has over thirty-five years experience with all types of computers, operating systems and software, the last eighteen of which have been right here in Sarasota, Florida. He brings a hands-on, plain-English view of computers to individuals and especially small businesses as the result of his education and experience in both business and law, in addition to computers. Mr. Kelly has lectured, published and trained both individuals and groups about business and accounting software, written a computer column for The Sarasota Business Examiner, appeared on WTMY and Computer Connections radio programs as a computer commentator, and appeared before many local groups speaking about computers, in addition to personally writing and publishing this website.
